Dear customers, old and new. After 12 years of making yew English longbows to order I am now changing the way my bows will be made available. Due to some ongoing health issues I find I am being forced to work less hours and take unexpected time off. This is making it very difficult to meet the deadlines given for ordered bows. This is frustrating for me and unfair to my customers. Therefore, from now on I will no longer be taking on orders and the majority of bows made will be advertised on my ‘Bows in Stock’ page and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. They will incorporate the usual high quality materials, finish and workmanship and will be made in a variety of the more commonly requested draw weights and designs.
